About the Author

My name is Daniel Duncan, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University. (The “NCSU” in “ncsuDuncan”.)
I am currently a civilian employee of the Navy, working as an aerospace engineer on some very cool things I can’t talk about.

I met a ton of Halo community members for the first time at PAX East 2011. This is me with friends from 343 Industries, HBO, GrifballHub, The Running Riot, CruelLegacey Productions, ForgeHub, and This Spartan Life. Good times.

I am the admin and content producer for HaloGAF.com, a resource for NeoGAF’s Halo community, where I run contests, cover gaming conventions, and co-host/edit the podcast (HaloGAF Radio). Back in May 2011 I helped organize the Halo Community Tournament, which you can read about here. If you want to know more about how I got started playing Halo and why I love it so much, you can read this post over at The Age of Gratitude.

An early breakfast with my HBO friends at PAX Prime 2011.
